Waterborne fun at Brigg festival event
At their Island Carr site, Glanford Boat Club held an open day of fun for all the family, with dodgems, a bouncy castle and inflatable slide.
Visitors were able to take to the water at Ancholme Rowing Club, on Manley Gardens, where the club had combined activities with Glanford Canoe Club.

A ferry boat provided river trips from near the town’s Lidl store and members of the Ancholme River Trust manned a stall at the market place bandstand to co-ordinate all the activities on the day.
“This is the third year of the festival and it looks like being the best yet,” said Coun Rob Waltham, chairman of the Ancholme River Trust.
“Ancholme Rowing club, the Canoe Club, Glanford Boat Club and the ferry boat have all seen plenty of visitors during the morning.
