Can you name church children? Sunday school group from Sleaford's Congregational Church in 1950s is rediscovered and who recalls grass trackers?
Graham Wright, from Bedford, emailed The Standard explaining he had recently discovered a photograph from the mid 1950s of a Christmas pageant at the Sleaford Congregational Church in Southgate (now the Riverside Church).
He writes: “I attended the Sunday School and I am ‘Faith’ in the centre of the picture. My brother Michael is in front of the ‘lighthouse’.”

She had two sons, John and David. The lady in the centre wearing the hat was Mrs Hallam and I think that the lady on the extreme right was Sheila Overton who lived in Ancaster. Mr Overton played the organ at the services.”
He hopes readers will identify some of the other children.
○ In our other two archive photos we have an inter club grass track race between Sleaford and Sturton by Stow in July 1969. The cars do not even have doors, but where was the venue?
