CORONAVIRUS: Volunteer shelter stolen from vaccination hub is returned after social media appeal
The donated shelter was taken at the end of last week from the Sidings Medical Practice, which is the Primary Care Network hub in Boston for delivering the the Pfizer/BioNTech.
It had been donated by Jewsons of Spalding to the hub.
The Sidings posted on Facebook on Sunday: “A huge thank you to the good people of Boston and the power of social media.

Hide Ad“Our volunteer shelter has been returned and will help our very kind volunteers shelter from the elements whilst assisting the vaccination campaign.
“Thank you all.”
The original posting said the practice had the incident on CCTV and urged those involved to return it before the police were contacted.
A number of Facebook users commented on the original post, including one who said: "This is the lowest of low. The volunteers were out there in torrential rain doing a grand job."
