Notts: Updates on snow, school closures and travel disruption
Residents across the county are waking up to what could be a hazardous winter’s morning after several inches of snow fell overnight.
The Met Office has extended its yellow warning for snow, with blizzards set to sweep the county and snowfall continuing in intervals until 11pm tonight.
The roads are quiet, with no closures being reported. However, some bus services could be delayed and motorists are being urged to take care in the county’s roads due to icy surfaces.
