Oil pipe starts car blaze near Martin
A ruptured oil pipe is thought to be to blame for a car fire near Martin this morning (Tuesday).
The incident was reported to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service just before 7am on the B1191 between Martin and Martin Dales.
A fire crew from Woodhall Spa attended and put the fire out wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reels, said a fire service spokesman.
The car was completely burnt out and the fire is believed to have started from a ruptured oil pipe in the engine compartment.
