A time to remember for Russell Green residents
Russell Green Care Home in Woodhall Spa held an Armistice Service last week, led by Eric Wilcox, RAF (Rtd).
Eric, who spent a lifetime in the RAF and is also a member of the Royal British Legion, was joined by residents, including ex-Grenadier Guard Aubrey Collins, to observe the two minute silence followed by a poetry reading, “Why are Poppies Red, Mummy?”
Eric also spoke some moving words about those we have lost.
