Police’s part of council tax to increase 1.95 per cent
An increase of 1.95 per cent of Lincolnshire Police’s element of the council tax precept has been accepted, it has been announced today.
Lincolnshire Police and Crime Panel unanimously agreed to support the request from Alan Hardwick for 2015-16.
Panel chairman Norman Norris said: “Lincolnshire Police remains one of the most underfunded forces in the country and we recognise the challenge this presents to both the Commissioner and Chief Constable, particularly in such a large rural county.

The rise will come into force for the next financial year.
