WI talk in Binbrook discusses 50-year history of Search and Rescue Dog Association
The organisation helps trace missing people, with volunteers often asked to travel the length and breadth of the country, whether it be mountain, moorland or fenland.
Now semi-retired from emergency call outs, highly-commended Ken is one of only five British international assessors who make sure specialist dogs and their handlers are up to the job.

Hide AdDuring refreshments, search and rescue dogs Abbie and Rob joined the meeting and stole everyone’s hearts.
The next meeting will be in the village hall on Thursday, February 4, at 7.15pm, when Jenny Johnson will be leading a crafting evening.
As well as speaking about her many crafty pursuits, multi-talented Jenny will be passing on her skills in 3D card making.
Take along small scissors and a ruler; all materials will be supplied to make your own card to take home.
Visitors fee is £3.80, which includes refreshments.
