Worksop: Town pub celebrates place in CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2016
Staff at the Unicorn, on Bridge Street, only found out last week when a customer popped in with the guide.
The pub was refurbished in the summer of 2013 and the news comes ahead of its second birthday in November.

Licensee, Michelle Stowell-Ng, said: “I did not know that we had been nominated, it was a complete surprise.
“To say that we have only been trading for 20 months it is a great achievement.”
“People who come in now say it is totally different to before. We get some of the older generation who bring their wives which means a lot.
“It is a credit to the staff and suppliers.”

On the Unicorn, the guide says: “Town centre pub offering up to three handpulled ‘LocAles’ and one real cider. Refurbished during the summer of 2013 in a traditional style.”
