After beating Ghanaian duo Samuel Akayade/Emmanuel Commey in round two, Walker/Reed faced Scottish pairing Niall Cameron/Sean Doherty in round three and recorded a confident 3-0 win.
But in the last eight they faced Indian pair Sharath Achanta/Amalraj Arputharaj and soon found themselves 2-0 down and up against it.
The English pair hit back by taking the third game 11-7.
But the Indians won the fourth game 11-8 to seal the match.
In the mixed doubles, Walker and partner Karian Le Fevre lost in the fourth round to the Australian pairing of William Henzell/Miao Miao.

Hide AdThe English pairing beat Mark-Anthony Dowell/Anthonette Riley of Barbados 3-0 in their first match and then upset seeded Indian pair Soumyajit Goush/Poulomi Ghatak 3-2 in round three.
They then engaged in a see-saw encounter with the Australians in which they led 1-0, trailed 2-1 and then fought back to make it 2-2 before losing the deciding game 11-9.
