LIVES to benefit from Ratty's latest musings
Neil Donner, of Sleaford, has released ‘Hairy Arsed Truckers - The Adventures of Cinderella Ratty’, a collection of stories and rants compiled to raise money for LIVES through his Drivers4Defibs group, fundraising for more public access defibrillators locally.
The humorous writer said: “It came about from two or three people reading my Facebook posts - stupid things I put on about lorry driving - and they said I ought to put them in a book. But I have been busy with Drivers4Defibs and organising our fun day on June 4.”

The printing costs have been sponsored by his wife Sally to ensure all money raised goes to LIVES. “She reads everything I write and she thought these were funnier than most of what I have done in the past,” he said.
Neil will be selling signed copies at the fun day, taking place from 12noon to 11pm at the Coach and Horses in Billinghay.
Ratty is his CB handle but with all his charity work he has lately been nicknamed Cinderella, for doing so much for others. The book is dedicated to the men who have volunteered for the second naked calendar, for 2017, sponsored by Mountains Skip Hire and on sale at the fun day.
There will be six live bands and solo artist, plus attractions such as a tyre flip and tug-o-war.
