THE road to hell may be paved with good intentions, but Brigg resident David Davies says 'The pedestrian area of Wrawby Street, Brigg is paved with…..concrete'.
He is aghast that the disappearance of the expensive millstone grit flags from Wrawby Street continues apace, with five 'hijacked' in one morning alone.

"It should be noted that only pristine, flags are selected. We have to ask ourselves, what now constitutes a 'conservation area' and where is there a patio being built," questioned Mr Davies from Burgess Road.

* Do you know where the slabs are being taken off too? Is it to re-slab Scunthorpe or bolster Barton? Email jason.hippisley@jpress.co.uk or write in.
