A FANTASTIC £811 was raised at a garden party at Greenacres Care Home for the residents' fund.

Residents determined that they want to buy a TV and now they enjoy sitting in the lounge, watching all their favourite programmes on the 42" screen.

Betty Doust said: "It's changed our lives. We can watch all the programmes and we even have free-view."
