Editor - I attended the Service of Praise at the new Griff Wood, Claxby and what a lovely occasion it was.

The sun was shining and the wood is in the perfect place nestling at the foot of the Wolds overlooking the Lincolnshire countryside.

Elaine Turner gave a very nice service and it was a wonderful opportunity for us all to join in prayers and singing of thanksgiving in memory of our dear loved ones.

I would also like to thank Trevor Lyle for all his work in making the wood possible; from providing the trees and assisting with planting and not forgetting his help with the transport, without which I would not have been able to attend.

After transporting people on my coaches for many years, it made a change to be a passenger and I was picked up at my door and taken all the way across the fields to the wood! Many thanks once again.
John Bristow
Mulberry Road, Claxby
