EDITOR - Rasen 21 would like to say a huge thank you to those who supported our efforts at the Global Warming Day, despite the weather.

A special thank you goes to Market Rasen Primary School, Market Rasen Junior Band and Sabotage for their fantastic performances, to Doug Robinson, Bryce Gilroy-Scott and Dr Nick Cheffins for their informative and wonderful talks; to our panel at discussion time, James Reed, Bryce Gilroy-Scott, Doug Robinson, Coun Ken Bridger, Coun Burt Keimach; to Carol Huggins for helping with the childrens activities, to Judy Bell for supplying the IT equipment, to RACoL and Market Rasen Town Council for funding the event.

And last but not least to Coun Gary Fenwick for ensuring the day ran smoothly, his genuine concern for environmental problems and for being so supportive.

Rasen 21 would love to have some feedback from those who attended, the good, bad and ugly and whether the experience has inspired you to make any changes to reduce your carbon footprint. Please email guy.grainger@virgin.net or call 01673 849647
Chris Caton
on behalf of Rasen 21
