MEMBERS of Market Rasen Flower Club went back in time to celebrate the 900th anniversary of Southwell Minster.
The minster’s Flower Festival involved flower clubs from across the North Midlands area of NAFAS and Market Rasen depicted the Civil War, when Cromwell's Scottish Cavalry Men stabled their horses in the nave of the Minster. They also included the destruction of the Bishop's Palace in the design.

Flower Club members involved were Shirley Cudbertson, Sarah Green, Barbara Jackson, Claire Marris, Ken Saunders, Di Smith and Jo Wilson.

Di Smith and Robin Leak were also invited to stage their own exhibits for the stations of the cross.
