Ray and Nigel win the DIY Shield

THE weather was good and the company was great for the DIY Shield open competition at Market Rasen Bowling Club.
The winners were Ray Maplethorpe and Nigel Keen, with Mr and Mrs Drury taking the runner-up spot.

Special thanks go to Town & Country Carpets, Jossals, Vitality, The town’s Co-Op store, The Gift Horse and Rasen Hardware for their raffle prizes and to RPC Containers for their most generous donation.

l The club holds practice sessions every Monday evening from 6.30 to 8.30pm and Saturdays from 2 to 4pm, when anyone is welcome to go along and try their hand at playing bowls.
