Trio bowled over at winning memorial cup

DESPITE the inclement weather at the start of the day, bowlers came from Caistor, Brigg, Burton Stather, Laceby, Market Rasen and Appleby Frodingham to enjoy a good day at the Hillside Bowls Club, competing for the Bernard Borrill Memorial Cup.
The contest was sponsored by Little Orchard Fruit and Vegetable and the winners were presented with the trophy by Lesley Borrill.
The winners were Mike Mellors, Graham Mason and John Cole (Caistor) and the runners-up were Bill Overy, Ernie Allison and Terry McKitton (Caistor).
